Position Summary:
- You are the credit union's daily representative to our valued members. Your primary responsibility is to proactively educate members on credit union products and services in order to facilitate a long-term financial relationship with members through the solicitation and referral of financial products. You provide information to new and prospective members regarding interest rates, account charges and other pertinent account information; process a variety of routine financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments; Maintain appropriate level of cash on hand; Prepare daily paperwork according to branch procedures; Responsible for managing and balancing cash drawer; and you provide a high level of service by utilizing the services standards of People, Trust, and Excellence.
- Profiling members to uncover future, past, and present needs.
- Continually update and gather Customer Relationship Management information to better serve our member's needs.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales expectations.
- Warmly greet members, in person and on the phone, always using the member's name whenever possible.
- Process check and cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments. Process requests for travelers' checks, money orders, bank wires, money orders, credit card, and cash advances.

- Receive and verify cash from Supervisor and maintain sufficient cash to process member requests.
- Balance individual cash drawer daily.
- Reconcile and clear teller totals daily.
- Assist in complying with federal cash transaction regulations. (ie:
BSA, CTR)
- Assist members with encoding PINs on ATM and ATM/Visa Check Cards.
- Promote electronic access for all members and cross-sell Touchteller,
ATM or ATM/Visa Check card, direct deposit/payroll deduction, On-line
banking, Bill Pay.
- Educate members about credit union products, services, rates, and fees.
- Promptly and accurately respond to member requests concerning account discrepancies or errors. Ensure timely follow-up with members.
- Take initiative for self-directed training and acquire skills to enhance performance, particularly with sales, service, and product knowledge.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned, or required, to ensure organizational success.
Minimum Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent. Six months customer service and cash handling experience, preferably in a bank or credit union. PC Proficient.Pay Rate:
$10.00 to $14.50 per hour depending on your qualifications/experience.Hours:
